Recommended Apps

Since I haven’t posted a whole heck of a lot, I decided why not post some apps that I like.

  1. Printopia – Share any printer, old or new, with your iPad or iPhone.

  2. AdwCleaner by xplode – AdwCleaner is a program that searches for and deletes Adware, Toolbars, Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUP), and browser Hijackers from your computer. By using AdwCleaner you can easily remove many of these types of programs for a better user experience on your computer and while browsing the web.

  3. Rkill by BleepingComputer – RKill is a program that was developed at BleepingComputer.com that attempts to terminate known malware processes so that your normal security software can then run and clean your computer of infections. When RKill runs it will kill malware processes and then removes incorrect executable associations and fixes policies that stop us from using certain tools. When finished it will display a log file that shows the processes that were terminated while the program was running.

  4. Malwarebytes (Free Version) by Malwarebytes – Anti-Malware’s industry-leading scanner detects and removes malware like worms, Trojans, rootkits, rogues, spyware, and more

  5. iMazing – Manage everything on every iPhone, iPad or iPod. Get iMazing, it’s simple and gives you immediate access to:
    • File storage
    • Every app and contents

Using Adobe Audition to Mix a Recording

Today, I decided to post a video to show how I edit recordings from the Music Cellar Festival. This year, I was able to record four separate groups off the mixing board using an Zoom R16 8 track recorder. Drums, guitars, vocals and keyboards.

Music Cellar Festival 2013

20130609E_1508
The 2013 Music Cellar Festival took place from Saturday, June 8th to Wednesday, June 12th with seven concerts in total. David, Brenda and many volunteers did a fantastic job once again. I took over 10,000 photos and recorded over 14 hours of audio and video which I’m posting slowly but surely. For now, I’m protecting the content. We’ll see how that goes.  Please email me for the password. Enjoy!
